Improved Stability of connecting Bluetooth headset signal (especially in AAC connection mode)

Improve background control capability, optimize power saving of native system

Improve preview speed of camera interface and camera stability

Improve zoom framing and image quality

Those are the highlights according to the update page.

Some users are reporting back that fingerprint recognition is faster, and more reliable, noise reduction is better, Album is quicker, preview and processing speed increased, and 2x zoom is faster too.

If anyone already received it could youbplease answer those questions?

- Is there finally 21:9 pics?
- Is the crappy stabilization in 4k video recording fixed?
- Is there signal reception issue fixed?
- Is the vivid mode added / reverted back to display options?
- Is there Performance mode added / reverted back to Stamina?
- Is the issue with overblown light sources at night fixed?
- Is 4k 60 fps finally enabled?

Also, is there any changelog?

If there is really a changelog shared that would be a positive news!

This is extemely expected and important to the user even if number of changes is smaller.

For those who received it, please do not install it yet, take several pictures (both day and night), then install the ipdate and then take very similar pics and share here. Would be interested in quality comparison.

I have a Sony WH-1000XM3 headset and a new Xperia 1 and I hope after this update to solve the problem of sound delay in the games (PUBG MOBILE). After an hour from now I will be deciding and I try the headphones and give you my opinion

This update also added Smart connectivity, photography advice feature which are new features on Xperia 5. Well done Sony Mobile.

But why don't you provide changelog to your customers?

Where do you have Smart connectivity, photography advice feature? Can't find it.

I recently received it. Late but finally.It seems the picture quality is a bit better but it is too early for me to say since have to test it a bit more in different conditions. Sadly no 21:9 mode or 4k stabilisation and frame chopping fix.

I found a bug, well on previous software version it was also there: in manual canera mode, if you set any shutter speed value (other than auto) then you cannot adjuat EV. In fact you can use the slider, change the value, but changing it has no any effect at all (from max to min value). Switching back SS value to auto makes the EV slider to have an effect again.

Probably won't fix the XM3 gaming delay issue.. Annoyed by the same thing. Like it's not even a typical small delay, like you would expect from wireless headphones. It is huge and makes it unplayable with those headphones.

No delay here with the WH-1000MX3's.

Tried Super Monkey Ball, Afterburner Climax, GTA:San Andreas, I.F.O, and a lot of others, including emulators.

I think you have to go and delete the data/cache from Bluetooth and repair.
