Cannot receive text mesaages from one carrier

Two days ago I stopped receiving text messages from only Verizon carriers. I received texts from other carriers just not Verizon. I've called my carrier , I've called Sonys help line. I performed 3 factory data resets and I just completed the Sony xperia companion software repair.. I still cannot recieve their messages help!

Have you tried using a different messaging application, one that you might download from the Google play store?

On my phone I use Google Messages rather than the default Sony Messaging app.

By any chance, was your phone obtained from an overseas seller? If so, it may have firmware designed to be used in a country other than the USA. If your fingerprint sensor works, that's an indication that you do not have the USA firmware. Without the USA firmware, you may not have full compatibility with all USA carriers' text messaging protocols. However, if you do have the USA firmware, then I'm not sure what the problem is.
