It had 82% charge at night around 12.36 am. It got heated so much and got switched off automatically in the morning around 7.25 am when not in use.

Will something did get stuck. Have you tried to reset it when you noticed excessive heat?

That's why it drained empty too. It's it happening again now you've turned on the phone again?

As schetz says - something had a hissy fit and refused to quit. Did you look in your battery stats? Has it stopped?

yeah I checked everything was quite normal. Now I gave it to the Sony centre. let's see what happens. Thank you buddy

You're not alone.

Others had good results with Xperia companion.

Make a backup and then do a software repair.

After repair don't put everything back; just the apps you really and urgently need.
