You can enable/disable this in Settings &amp;gt; Display &amp;gt; Glove mode.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have a screen protector on your device, try temporarily removing it and see if you experience the same behaviour.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can also reboot your device in &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/safe+mode/pd-p/safe_mode" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="187-1"&gt;safe mode&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;and use the pre-installed applications for a bit, just to make sure that no downloaded application(s) are the cause of this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Let us know how it goes! &lt;IMG class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.com.mk/html/images/smilies/011.png" alt="Slightly_smiling_Face" title="Slightly_smiling_Face" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a Problem with mit Xperia X the screen of it is sometimes Controlling its elf it is realy annoying because sometimes when i use whats app i call someone ore when i open snapchat i open chats with guys i Dont want.. Please fix it..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Did you activate glove mode?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The screen is very sensible when it is switched on.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
