Hi @jhong0717, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about this.

I'm not quite sure that I understand what behaviour you are experiencing. Do I understand correctly that you can enable Wi-Fi in your device but when you search for networks, you can't find any networks even though you know there are Wi-Fi networks in range of your device?

If that is correct, try rebooting your phone in safe mode and see if you can find any Wi-Fi networks when downloaded applications aren't loaded as they are temporarily disabled in safe mode.

You can also try and reset the networks settings in your device.

Go to Settings > More.

Find and tap Network settings reset, then tap RESET SETTINGS.

Do note that this will delete all saved Wi-Fi networks, previously paired Bluetooth devices and you will need to download the Internet settings again in your device so you can use mobile data (Settings > More > Internet settings).

Let me know how it goes and I'm sorry if I misunderstood your question!

Hi again, sorry for the late reply.

Oh, I see, sorry to hear that there was no change when the device was rebooted in safe mode.

The next step is to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will delete all data stored on the internal storage of the device and reinstall the latest available software, so it is advised that you create a backup using Xperia Companion before starting with the repair.

Let me know how it went!
