Disastrous Battery life post oreo update

Post oreo update the phone battery is draining like anything.

At night before going to bed it was 100% and in the morning it was 75%.

Its not about only idle mode when phone is not used. But normal usage is also resulting in heavy drop in battery level.I am not a heavy user, my daily stuff includes messaging, calls, sometimes Web browsing thats it.

But even then the battery is not able to sustain for more then 5 to 6 hr.

Please release a update patch and clear the issues as I think many people will be having the same issue.

I have the same problem and this battery is just one of that I noticed as the excessive heating of the phone even if it is on standby, the super sensitive light sensor and also the light sensor is turned on whenever it receives data from the Internet even if I deactivate it

I have also observed heating issue post oreo update but major concern is battery drain issues specially Mobile Network Standby which is consuming too much juice causing the battery to drain like anything.

Ya I also face this issue. "mobile network standby" is consuming a lot of battery 😔 Battery drain is very evident
