High battery use after installing September update

Hello. I have an Xperia X Compact. 48 hours ago i installed the September 1 update. Since upgrading I feel like my battery has drained very quickly and my phone is constantly running very hot even during normal use. I do not know if I am imagining it but it definitely feels different than before. My usage pattern has not changed.

Have others seen this with the new software update? Is Sony aware of the problem? Will there be a fix to restore original performance with the next update?

Também percebi isso. A bateria do meu celular está indo embora rapidamente. Sem eu estar usando, de madrugada quando você está durando uma bateria esta em 100, ja fiz o teste, quando acordo esta com 78

~~, como assim? Não foi usado para usar. E olha que esta com o modo Stamina ligado. Ele reduz o desempenho do aparelho e bateria vai embora.~~

, as well? It was not used to use. And look, it's with Stamina mode turned on. It reduces the performance of the device and battery goes away.

@mcc111 I use an Xperia X Compact and I love it, I don't feel it slower or hotter, what may be is that you have an application/system module that during the update process got corrupted. Try to reboot in safe mode - if the battery life while in safe mode is greater then the issue is an application, you have to discover which one, re-install it.. that should fix your issue. If while in safe mode the phone still drain the battery considerably then your only option is to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This is typical during a software update, not an Xperia's bug but an Android's one.

After the latest update I am also facing the battery drainage issue on xperia x dual. I really hope it will be fixed in October update.
