Sometimes recorded video are not saved. It's not always. After stopping recording phones will try to save for long time and ultimately video gets corrupted

i have the same issue as described by previous poster. Some videos are just spinning on save and get corrupted. Using 128gb SD card which was moved from older z5 to the X Compact. Any ideas? Only had the phone for a week. Thanks

Do you experience the same issue if you store them to the internal storage instead?

I have this same problem. Sony Spain is telling me to use a software, Sony Xperia Companion, "to repair the software". That process will delete the internal memory bla bla bla, and if it doesn't work, I have to send my phone in for repairs.

This is absolutely unacceptable. MANY years ago (over 10), Samsung told me to reset the phone to factory when I complained about contacts not synchronizing well with the computer, and same thing HTC said when the a phone was working slow (it turns out the HTC One M7 can't handle Android encryption, but it works quite well four years later without encryption).

This is the EASY thing to say, which is a total hassle for users, and won't solve anything. Since most users are not willing to go through this process, then they can wash their hands and tell them it's their fault for not following their directions.

This is OBVIOUSLY a firmware problem. Solve it and push the update!

Saving on internal seems to work fine, but that is only a temporary solution, as there is not much space for videos. I have tried to reduce the video size a notch, but it still keeps happening on longer videos (2 min or longer) when saving to SD. The SD card is 128GB Class 10. It was brought over from an older Z Compact. Is there any update on this issue for the X Compact? Thanks
