I know how it works. The problem is that when I put the phone in my pocket it does the ICE call, I made 3 yesterday!!

That didn´t happen in the Z3 compact because it had the option being able to see the number but not calling without the pattern/pin. I don´t understand why they have removed this option.

Now I have to remove my ICE contacts to avoid calling them all the time. That will be very useful in case of emergency...

Hi,

I recently got a Sony X compact and I have a problem with the ICE contants. In my old Z3 compact I had the option of showing the contacts with the screen locked without being able to call them, but I can´t find this option in the X compact and every time I put the phone in my pocket I do an emergency call!!! Is there any option to avoid this?

Thanks

Regards

Hi @jesbelga and welcome to the community.

To access your ICE contacts from your lock screen start by bringing up the screen to enter your PIN code or graphical password, here tap emergency. On the top of your screen will be emergency information tap it twice to bring up emergency information, here you can see any medical information you have added as well as the ICE contacts you have stored in your device.

I'm afraid there is no setting like the one you are describing in your Z3 Compact.

Let me know if this answers your question.

I see, sorry that I misunderstood you question.

I recommend that you disable double tap to wake if you have it enabled to see if it may be the cause of this behavior. To do so, go to: Settings > Display > Tap to wake up > Off.

I would also recommend that you reboot your device to safe mode to see if this behavior is caused by one of your downloaded apps as these are temporarily disabled in this mode.

Let me know the results!
