My phone Xperia X, is just 1month old and double tap to wake is not working. I try it without screenprotector and it still not working. please help me

Remove the screen protector and any case > boot in >>> safe mode >>> check again

Double-tap seems to be different in Oreo. I have to like tap it Multiple times to wake the screen. I know it's not the touchscreen is the problem coz' Double-tap to sleep is working perfectly fine.
