I updated my Sony Xperia X Compact device (Oreo 8.0.0) and unfortunatelly I lost the magnifying glass. I and many of people would like to get back this usefull function. If you can develop this function it will be glad a lot of users.
Is there any way to fix that problem?

If you use Gboard keyboard (and perhaps others), there is an option to bring up a text editing tool (see picture below, hopefully). I know this is not really a substitute for the magnifying glass, but it might be useful.
