No problems with back camera, but I do have problems with overheating and battery draining.

Using Sony Xperia X compact.

Any solllution yet?

my phone also have same problem, overheating & battery drain faster after new update, if there any suggestions that can help. so disappointed since i was sony Xperia user previously.

In general any update should be done with battery charged for 80%.

Doing it with low battery can result in failures.

There might be other reason for failure too when updating.

There is however a good recipe to resolve these kind of problems.

make backups
1. using Google backup
2. using Xperia Backup & Restore
3. using Xperia Transfer Mobile
4. using Xperia Companion
do a software repair using Xperia Companion
you will end up with a speedy device
before you do all this:
1. goto apps screen
2. sort on date
3. delete latest apps installed
4. often those are the ones that made your device slow down, overheat, drain, have other issues
