Android 10 XZ2 issues

Hey,

since the rolluot of Android 10 on my XZ2 i find out many issues.

- fingerprint sensor doesnt work fine

- Sound is worse than before

- my voice masseges are quieter then before so my friends have problems to understand what i said (microphone issue)

- Bluetooth media playback dont work on cars anymore

- battery saving is a joke

- the phone stops charging after the alarm rings

- many lags at switching the screens or playing a video or open an app

- the focus on the camera is so slow now and bad

I hope Sony is going to fix these issues. If i want these problems i bought me a iPhone or Samsung smartphone. It's not a Sony anymore...i am very disappointed of my smartphone now. I use it about one and a half years and i think about to put it into the desktop and wait...

Please Sony fix the problems!!!

I can confirm all of those plus some other:

- alarm go off evrry few second again and again after its first trigger even if i turn it off right at the first time

- my camera do not work at all.... Crash every time when i try to take a picture. Restart helps for a while. It takes few picture while beeing very slow. After few pictures it starts crashing again.

- when i switch a phone call to laud speaker my microphone stops working after few seconds, other side cannot hear me

- and many other minor bugs....

This is a very bad joke from sony!

Hope for a quick fix... Or official downgrade procedure.. Fast!

A downgrade to Android 9 or the option to it will be very helpful. I use Android 10 on my Samsung tablet and it's working very fine so i think it's a Sony problem.

New issue the haptic feedback of my keyboard don't work sometimes...😔

Same here. My XZ2 compact is so slow I can hardly even use it. Fingerprint unlock takes 3 seconds where last month it worked instantly. Browsing with Chrome is a pain, and my the phone can't even play my ringtone without stuttering.

Please Sony fix this!!!

You can use the Companion app and do the "Software repair", it fixes all the stuff.

I tried it but then you reset your complete phone and Sony campanion is not able to save a full backup and recover it. So all stuff from December till now is gone 🙈

I look forward to it and report if I still have any issues right now.

I have the same problem with the microphone, people just don't hear me anymore.

I have almost the same problem after this update to android 10 & the phone became slow

Someone know how to roll back to our lovely android 9

Sony please fix the problem or let us to roll back to the preview version of android

For me, media playback on car is fine, but I can't call anyone on Bluetooth (car or headset), as the called person can't hear me.
Important, that I turn off media audio, when I connect to the car, otherwise I can't hear the GPS. The car stereo can play only radio or BT media, not both.

fingerprint is slow, camera i slow and crashes ... until this update i haven't had any complaint regarding this phone! it worked flawless ... and now I must clean cache, 2 time press finger, camera restart ... it's bad ...

The led flashes with no apparent reason. I still haven't figured why ... maybe battery, but no notifications ... generally speaking the phone is slower and has glitches with changing tabs, apps, everything ...

Please fix this

I have the same issues as you all, Sony must react, i bought your Phone because they are reliable. Phone is crashing, download app too dont update the os if it doesnt work correctly.
