You cannot. There is no tap-to-wake function in the XZ2.

There is another way in case you're using a cover/case.

There is a position in the cover of the case where you can put a magnet.

The moment you flip your case open the screen wakes up.

Sony covers always have this magnet magic built-in.

You need to find out the right position toward the screen.

The picture shows the position for Z3C (upper) and X (lower)
