Nobody has this issue? I find that hard to believe as it's not the first phone it's happened with. I also had this issue briefly with my old Z5 but I was able to fix it by playing around with settings but I can't remember what I did then. I really need this resolved.

Bluetooth issue

My Xperia XZ2 drops Bluetooth connection to all devices when locked. This has only been an issue since the last software update. It means I can't darken the screen when listening to music in the car or using wireless headphones when out running. Obviously this then creates battery longevity issues. It also means I don't get notifications on my watch and can't use the find phone function on said watch when I forget where I set it down at home.

Are you sure you haven't any battery saving modes like Stamina enabled when this happens?

If not then you might have an app installed which is disabling bluetooth because this is not normal and I've never encountered this. I would have noticed as I have a smartwatch connnected 24/7

Stamina mode is always turned off but I did have Avast Battery Saver installed. Checking the settings, I could see no reason why it would turn Bluetooth off when the screen is locked. However, I uninstalled and now there's no issue. Thanks for the tip (though, while checking the settings, I remembered that I had to adjust the profile settings on the app to fix the issue on my Z5)
