topic No LTE Band 40 (TD 2300 MHz) on XZ3? in XZ Series

Just replaced my Z5 Dual to XZ3, expecting there is Band 40 (TD 2300 MHz) in this phone, as advertised.

I can confirm that my provider supports Band 40. I already checked their press released, compared to other phones, in same and different location, same and different time. I check the connection using an app named LTE Discovery, and it shows the connection is in Band 3 (1800 MHz), always, while in LTE. I already replaced the sim card to the new one, still the same.

Then, I called local Sony Support, told them I couldn't get band 40, and told them my IMEI number.

They said my XZ3 only support up to 2100 MHz (Band 1).

My question:

1. Who should I trust? The local support or XZ3 advertisement all around the world, that said this phone support up to Band 40?

2. What is the solution to get Band 40 with this phone?

Note:

- sim provider I'm using only support Band 1 (UMTS), 3 (LTE), 8 (LTE), 40 (TD-LTE)
