Night light in Pie - where is it?

Sony, its very disappointing to have NO night light in the Pie update! Why? Can´t unterstand this. The solution unter Oreo doesn´t work anymore, so what can we do? Third Party Apps are not as good as the implemented (!) night light in stock pie firmware...

Recently I sent an email complaint to Sony about this, they replied that "it is not in their plans to implement night mode in XZ1C".

It's a shame as it is a few Kilobytes of code and XZ2C has it. In developer options there is a Night mode, however it just makes the screen a little bit blurry.

Sony can you change your mind and listen to your customers?

So they take the trouble to bring Pie to the phone and the constant improvements with every update, but cannot be bothered to introduce a minor - and common - convenience such as night light? Seems absurd...
