My headphone jack no longer works, it no longer supports my headset or any other and it happened overnight

First reboot into safe mode to check if it is the same situation.

If so you can take up contact with support for a repair.

To do so open the support app on your device which will bring you straight to local support.

My Sony XZ (F8331) headphone jack stoped working around June this year after one of the system upgrades,I forget now which one it was but I have had to switch to bluetooth earbuds so I can play my music,I have tried my old wired headphones again after system updates but Sony still dont seem to have a fix for it,and it seems the newer model phones are moving away from the headphone jack completely,so some bluetooth buds might be your best bet.

How is another headphone functioning on your device?

Is the jack connector clean?

Does the sound on the speakers stop when you plug in the headphones?
