Display of My Xperia XZ is so reddish

I bought xperia xz a few days ago. When I set the phone, I noticed its display looks so reddish. So adjusted white balance, but I'm very unpleasant because It's too reddish even the SONY boot image. It looks hardware fault.
It's most reddish device when I compare to any other my devices.
Can I get repair of this issue?

I can't see the picture just yet, but you might want to contact your Local support, you can also check

Settings > display settings > image enhancements > off

Welcome to the community.

You can also check in Settings > Display > While Balance. Turn down the red, or turn up blue and green.

This is an issue due to the bad color calibration of the display. This happens also in the Xperia Z5 but less, the hue tend to a little pink on the whites.

As you can see in the Figure that I report to you, to correct the red tint you can adjust the opposite color, in this case, the blue. In addition, you can manage the green to correct an eventual purple/pink tint if it create.

Unfortunately, Sony knows this issues with its displays but never give the correct RGB values to correct them, never through official channels! In this way, the support it is very worse... So, you can manage the RGB values since you have your impression of correct white point.

I think this is very much an isolated issue. Many users are not having such an issue with there display, though it's quite obvious looking at the OP display there is quite obviously a problem.

I don't think this is an issue, but a not optimal calibration of the display.

This happens, as reported before, also in Z5 panels, as reported in figure; they have a little pink hue on whites.

I had the very same issue after purchasing my xz.
I took it back to carphone warehouse today and they run a debug on it which showed colour faults. They replaced the handset with another one. Hopefully this one will last longer than one week.

My XZ has a warm slightly yellow tint but this is preferable to a blue white, and certainly preferable to the red of the OP's phone. I haven't had to tamper with the display settings.

I'm on my 5th Xperia XZ all of them have had screen problems.. Yellow tint, dead/missing pixels and touch screen issues where it would go crazy and do its own thing, one I'm using now still has yellow tint like all of them have but I've adjusted the white balance and set blue to 60 just wish it didn't decrease the overall screen brightness!! I can have the screen bright by turning off the white balance but then have yellow tint or I can have it more slightly cooler but lowers brightness!!! Also the screen seems whiter on the right side of display compared to the left side!!!

The yellow tint, as reported also for the new iPhone 7, could be due to the glue used for the construction and it could gone away in severla weeks. If the yellow tint is due to the glue, there is not a certainty!

However, the worse is that Sony doesn't give us the correct RGB values for every panels to calibrate they; we have not a professional calibration spftware and tool, like colorimeter, to adjust they!

Also Sony doesn't provide us a useful tool to change the temperature, saturation and white point of the panel as Windows Mobile done.

Ok, the quantum dot dislplays show a larger tint of red, green and blue, and I love this tech, but the white point MUST BE the same in every color chart gamuts, D65!

It is worse that no one of the Sony's moderator answer about this!

I believe this to be an isolated issue as well, as my xz has white whites and I have default values for white balance.

For anyone having a yellow tint, I can confirm no notice of yellow tint on my display. Had mine less than a week.

Would try software repair first, especially for the red tint. If no joy, I would contact retailer for a replacement.

Hi my Xperia XZs has a tiny dead pixel or its stuck its near the notification area when the screen is black and you turn the brightness up there is a white dot there my device is not fully updated yet please help

What I can suggest you is:

1) Try a software repair and let see if this resolve your issue;

2) Contact you local support and, if the device is in warranty, send it or ask for a sostitution.

I'm displease to can't say you more...
