WiFi not working on applications after Pie Update

Hi everyone, sorry for my language if is bad.

My sony xperia xz1 device wifi settings not working after pie update on application

example: i connecting my home wifi or cafe wifi and opening twitter and tweets not showing up

or i opening netflix and i can't connect netflix.

im shutting down wifi and using LTE then i can surfing on applications.

Hello,

I am experiencing exactly the same issue after updating my XZ Premium to Android Pie.

I am finding that tweets do not load on WiFi either.

Also I am finding that the William Hill app and website do not work on WiFi either and I am having to use LTE until this has been fixed.

Weirdly, the problem only occurs when I use the WiFi at home; at work or elsewhere it seems to be fine.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

same issue here, just home wifi. my router model is tplink. what is the brand of your modem?

i think just happening on tplink and huawei brands making a trouble. when xperia solve this problem??

Hi, have you tried restarting the device? Because that usually solves the problem. This issue was present also on Android Oreo. Looks like Sony still haven't found a solution to this problem.

Hello,

My router is also a TP-Link Archer VR2800.

Could it be that Pie has issues with this make of router?

i'm using tp-link td-w9970. i think u are right. tplink and pie not working properly together

Hi, Irecently updated my phone to Android 9.

My phone model is:MI A2 LITE

There is a problem with WIFI. Some applications such as Instagram, google play game or Telegram cant use internet.
Somehow something like Firewall stop them, But other applications such as web browser,play store,... are connected to internet.
When I am using my SIM CARD data there isn't this peoblem.

I dont think the problem would relate to modem or wifi , because other mobile models dont have this problem and theyre working without any interruption.

Thank you to pay attention. Please say me how to provide this problem.
