Black bar when running game apps

I just acquired this phone and I noticed that running any game app such as Hearthstone will cause a black bar on the screen. The app will be flushed to one side and the excess screen space on the other side will be filled with the black bar. Is there any way to fill the screen or at least center the app?

Hi @sdarkpaladin;

I would gess that it is probably because the game is made for a 16:9 screen proportion and the XZ2 has a 18:9 screen.

I guess so too, was wondering if it can be centered so it at least looks decent.
