Hello,

I would like to have an opinion about this..

I was in my bath, browsing (24% battery). I had fingers a little wet.

The device turned off while I was trying to open Chrome = the chrome icon was darked /grey like when you touch it and then after the browser immediately opens, but there, it stayed grey/darked with no opening.

After what the screen (and phone) turned off...

And impossible to turn it on during for maybe 1 or 2 minutes.

So what is more likely ?

1- Altough the phone is IP68, the moisture/humidity has made the phone turned off (and reluctant to turn on)...

2- Simply, a bug...

Chrome caused a system crash, and that 1-2 minutes period of inactivity is mostly the system collecting a crash dump. If it starts normally afterward, you can check Settings -> Support -> navigate to "Device info" tab from the bottom icons -> scroll down to "Application -> check latest application problems.

If you can't start it normally, press and hold the volume up and power buttons together for at least 7 seconds to force a restart.

If all fails, then it can be water damaged. Contact your Local support.

Ok thanks !

I have check the lastest application problems and there is no google Chrome issue mentionned here.

There are 20 applications problems repertoried in the last 10 days, mostly Meteo and HereWeGo but no info about when they occurred.

Does that mean that it could not have been a Chrome crash, but rather a water problem, which is more problematic ...

But as I see your device is running normally now so no need to worry about water damage as it usually appears as a permanent hardware damage.
