Hi, can someone tell me if the new Xperia XZ supports Mirrorlink?
Have tried searching around but can't find a definite answer.

Is that the same thing?
I have a car head unit that supports Mirrorlink, my current phone (Nexus 6) doesn't support and I know a lot of Sony phones do....

So they are different technologies, but is anyone able to confirm if the XZ supports Mirrorlink?
It seems maybe not...

According to this review, the phonne does have Mirrorlink (3rd paragraph under the "Connectivity" heading.)
Can someone please confirm if htis is correct?

Any luck with the mirror link? I just tried mine today and it won't work after Sony told me it would.

I'm afraid that according to the information available in the white paper, MirrorLink isn't supported by the Xperia XZ.

Well its update time. After being told the xz supports mirrorlink and after handing over 480 hard earned pounds for a xz, my 3rd and final sony phone. Until then im going back to my z3, which for me is a better phone. Or to a different brand which offers it.

I know from reading whitepaper that Xperia XZ has no Mirrorlink support, what i think's very strange since the Xperia X and X performance has.

My question is, will the XZ ever get mirrolrink thru software updates or is it impossible?

If they ever wanted to support it on this model, they would have included it at release.

well.. it's sad but most expensive phone in Sony pallete not supporting mirror link. i've bought XZ 3 months ago, today tested it in my car and it says "not supported". i should go for Z, cheaper and better hope that sony will do something about that.
btw.. everything goes well with 2 samsung S7 phones from my kids.

I just had a look at the article and it does say "It can also connect to your car's stereo system via MirrorLink."

Car's stereo system - which it does connect, you can listen to your music via the car's stereo system.

It also connects phone calls, but that's about it....

...It fails to connect to phone completely and mirror the screen.

I am still looking for a phone with mirrorlink connectivity to see if it works with my Aygo infotainement.....

Sony xperia xz premium is most worst expensive device.. He does not have mirrorlink, tap on/off function, USB mirror/cast and more..

If I would know those problems I couldn't buy this phone..

Next phone will not be Sony..

Don't like Sony phones with their limitations..

My huge mistake was choosing this smartphone .

Thank you Sony, but not thank you!!
