I have exactly the same issue and it's really making me angry!

Phone heats up really quick even though I'm just browsing the internet and battery is pathetic. The experience ever since the OREO update has been abysmal and disgusting.

This my last Sont phone I can't believe how they release updates without testing them. They need to understand that this phone Can't even do basic stuff and it lags and heats like I'm so disappointed. Can you believe that the dialer app lags when scrolling through the call logs And nobody notices it Sony because either they don't idea how to fix simple issues. It has been almost a year and I still struggle with a 600 dollars so callwd flagship

I know right? I'm typing this now on the xz. I've been watching videos for like 30 minutes and the phone is really hot now. I'm typing this on the SwiftKey keyboard that came with it. Typing is extremely lagging! Been struggling with this for 1 and a half year now. Sony needs to get their garbage together.

I've had it active for almost 6 months but it didn't change anything so I just turned it off.
