@VKXPERIA do you use a screen protector with your phone? if it's covering the proximity sensor (the small black pill-shaped thing to the left of your phone's ear piece), it will be switching the screen off during calls. try removing the screen protector and either don't use one, or find one that has a cutout for the proximity sensor.
