Hi @Lovelyguy, sorry to hear about this.

Is this something that you have started to experience very recently, for example after updating the software in your device?

There are a few more things that you can try even if you have already tried most troubleshooting steps on your own.

Just to make sure that this is not caused by the network, try changing the network mode in your device to 2G/GSM only and see if that helps. You can do so in Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network > Preferred network type > 2G/GSM Only. Make a few calls and see if there is any change and don't forget to change back to 4G/LTE!

If there is no change, try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion. This is a bit different from a factory reset as it will completely wipe the device and reinstall the latest software, so creating a backup using Xperia Companion before you start with the repair is advised!

Let me know how it goes!

My Sony Xperia xz has an in call mic problem. The person on the other end of the call cannot hear me when I speak into the mic. I can hear them. Using a headset all is fine both sides can hear each other, the same for using the speaker phone setting. When I run diagnostics the test records what I say into the phone. I have tried it on safe mode and the same issue occurs. I have also done a hard reset to factory settings and same issue! Help! Collective wisdom save me!
