So my phone's battery had been heating up quite a lot recently and I saw that using the software repair in the Xperia companion app would fix it. I made a backup of all my files and started the repair. I left while it was downloading, I think the latest update, and it then turns off my phone. Now ocmputer says "sofware repair fail".

I tried to turn on my phone but it only shows the XPERIA logo then turns off and restarts to show the XPERIA logo and ita just been bootlooping since. Help!

SOLVED

Silly me, I didn't see the option in the Xperia companion app "My device is not detected or started, or is a SmartWatch 3". Following the steps fixed my device thereafter XD
