XZ Premium keeps randomly restarting

Just upgraded to this handset last saturday and since then it's randomly restarted 2-3 times a day. It's always when the phone's just sitting there doing nothing - not on charge.

I've tried doing the software fix off the Sony website and not installed any other apps iand it's still happening. Should I send it back or has anyone else had this problem and found a fix?

U should go back to the shop immediately and ask for a replacement. The longer you delay, the more excuses they can give you to deny your request.

Phone restarts by itself when you pull out your sim slot. Maybe it sits not thigh, you should check this .

By way of an update, I took the phone back and got a replacement which does exactly the same thing!

It only seems to do it when connected to my home wifi though. It's fine on the work wifi all day and if on the mobile network.

I rebooted the home router and so far it seems to be ok. Weird eh?

I have encountered exactly the same problem, although mine XZP was restarting every couple minutes. Since I disconnected the phone from wifi, the problem disappeared. I owe you a beer sir!

This has also been happening to my XZP for a few days. I did a whole phone reset, did a software repair, tried safe mode, tried various apps on and off... I'm at the end of my tether! It even happen s when on charge. I'm trying your WiFi solution to see if that works.. Ive only had it a month but it has been fine the whole time!

Exactly same issue after intalling Android 9.0
