Problem with Messenger app

Hello,

Since I switched on my new XZ1 compact, I had some issues with the Messenger App.

First issue, the application doesn’t stay connected. Everytime I start it I can see the orange message “Waiting Network” before the green message “Connected”.

Second issue, I don’t have notification when I receive a new message. It’s very annoying.

The problem is similar on WiFi or on Mobile network.
Stamina is disabled.
I added Messenger app on “exception of energy saving” list.
I tried to clean cache and data.
I tried to reinstall the application.
I tried a factory reset of the phone.

Could you help me please?

have you tried to contact the messenger app developers regarding this?

try to reinstall one more time. restart your device. and reconnect again with your mobile data or wifi
