When the time comes for it to work, simply nothing happen - there is no sound, no vibration, no signs of his work.

I have the same problem with my X Performance. I have an alarm clock set for all working days but it fired only on Tuesday and Wednesday but not on Monday or Thursday. This is a basic functionality. It should simply work as expected all the time!

It seems we could combine our phones. My alarm didn't worked on Wednesday and Friday. Shame on you Sony.

I have the same problem after updating to Oreo. It looks like if I "wake the phone up" before the alarm should go off, it works. But otherwize it just does nothing. And of cource is happens intermittently.

Has anyone herd anything from Sony guys on that matter?

As workaround for me its only use another clock app (default Google Clock app from Google play for example)

And add this app to the android battery saver (stamina) exceptions

For me it failed once even just a few minutes after I woke my phone up to check time. And today I realised the same happens with calendar reminders. I received a reminder for an event already after it was over instead of ten minutes ahead of time like programmed.

After one of the last updates almost a week ago, the function repeat of my phone stoped working(Sony xz f8332) I set the alarm to 10 am, and activated repeat all days, just work the day I set, but then doesn't work any more, I could download a new app alarm, but don't know if is going to work. Sorry for my English, hope you can help me

I must say, I have the same problem. My alarm didn't ring 3 times in 2 weeks. Today was the second time, there was no ringing in the morning and I came to work late. this stupid Oreo update!!

For me the same. After the update of Oreo. 2 times I get late. So I installed an additional app and this rings 2 minutes after the normal alarm. Last week I got an security update. But today the same problem appear. Only the extra alarm app wakes me. I'm from Germany. Till yet I have deleted all ringers in the app and only one new is active. Soon I will try to reset the phone and see what's happened. For me an essential function. Seems to me that it is an Oreo problem? Some Google phones have the same problem.

I have the same problem. Xz phone let's me sleep in. Buts it's an intermittent fault. Last week Tuesdays repeat didn't work, this week Fridays. Not good, need a reliable alarm. Please help

I had the same problems from Oreo update. My alarm rang just Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. As from this Monday I received a new update from Sony. The Oreo version was still 8.0.0, so I din't think something will be different. But look this: Problem solved. Now my Xperia rings on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but forgets Thursday and Friday. IT SUITS ME BETTER. Thank you Sony.
