Sure about December security patches? My updated device tells that it is November level, and Dezember has not even been published officially.

I think they pull the previous one due to some issues of the November Patch on Google's side.

Sony seems to have stopped on the rollout of this latest firmware again. Still waiting for the camera fix that was supposed to be 'mid November'

May be they have tested something with real users

I think that with enabled Project Treble , for SONY will be more easy to go on 8.1
