I think this OS needs a little tweak/improvement. It eats up alot of space in RAM. As of now my OS runs in 1.4GB. Please do something about it right away. Thanks!

I have the same problem with Marshmallow (around 1GB), Lollipop was better...but Android is working with RAM and programs different lije the Windows, in android is normal when the OS taking so much RAM, if you dont recognize any lags on system or freezing, then I think its ok, but if you think the system is slow responding or it seems buggy (it depends on your hardware too), there can be something wrong...try factory reset or reinstall with PC Companion...anyway, what device you are using?

Sigh*

Sony what are you doing! It's nice that you can be one of the first manufacturers to have android 7.0 available but c'mon! The performance is abysmal, all of my apps constantly reload and nothing stays in memory.

I can't even switch between emails and chrome to enter passwords because of your ram management. This is a 2016 flagship phone that can't even compete with a Moto G.

It's unbelievable that you can take 1 step forwards and 8 back.

Genuinely disappointed with this software and phone.

For the problem of sony ram management I must agree with you...in my old Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro was multitasking better then now in Z5 Compact...I dont understand to it why all apps cannot stay in memory but they are loading each time I switch for example from chrome to write an sms message and back to chrome and it loading again...strange
