topic Problems with Facebook Messenger in XZ Series

Hi,

I've had my XZ for a week now and this is really starting to get annoying. Sometimes when I'm writing a message it seems I'm hitting an invisible switch that makes Messenger disappear and put focus on the next active app instead. If I touch the menu button, the Messenger app is no longer active and I have to start it up again. Obviously, my text is now gone. The way this happens is fast, like a flicker on the screen. At first I thought there was something wrong with my keyboard app but I've tried with three different ones.

Now I see two big problems with this, one is the disappearing text, I'm not a fan of having to rewrite long messages. Also, it has happened more than once that just as the app decides to close down I am still tapping my screen writing, and because my phone is smarter and faster than me, it registers every tap I make but in the next app in focus. Not good at all. I just switched phones from my beloved Z1 where Messenger worked perfectly so I know the problem must be here somewhere.

Thanks for reading!
