topic video playback stutters in XZ Series

hi, whenever i try to play any video from the default video player in xperia xz1, it stutters. is there any solution to stop this stuttering?

you have Stamina mode on?

try turning it off.

the stamina mode is off and the device have full charge.. this usually occurs when i am trying to play .mkv or. mp4 files.

I see,looks like a vidoe file format and stock player issue.

Will test some MKV and MP4 files with stock video player and try replicating the same issue you having on my device.

Update:

Played both MKV and MP4 with no stutter.

Maybe you need to clear your video player cash

Or the video file format you used are not compatible with the stock player.

It seems that the codec of the videos which i am trying to play is not supported by the hardware itself because i tried to play those videos in MX player using H/W accelaration and it too was stuttering but when i used H/W+ accelaration it was playing smoothly. (codecs of video which i tried to play: H.264 / AVC / MPEG-4 AVC / MPEG-4 part 10/HEVC)
