My app menu icon disappeared

So just today my app menu Icon disappeared from what I know it cannot be deleted so this is not an accident how do I bring it back?

Try to find it on the other homescreens, maybe it was dragged there my mistake.

You can reset you homescreens to default by clearing the data of the Xperia Home app (Settings -> Apps & notifications -> App info -> Xperia Home -> Storage -> Clear data). Bear in mind that this will remove any customization you've made to your homescreens.

Edit: You can also check your Xperia Home settings by long-pressing any empty space on your homescreen and choose Settings, and make sure that "Hide apps icon" is disabled.

Thank you that actually fixed it just had to redo my home screen again but that worked!

Maybe you did hide the apps icon from the launcher settings.

Long press empty space on the screen, go to desktop settings, then Single Launcher and press ok

Suite à une mauvaise manipulation j'ai accidentellement retiré l'icône de la liste d'applications de l'écran d'accueil de mon Sony Xperia XZ1. J'ai cherché dans tous les paramètres comment le réinsérer mais impossible de trouver comment. Quelqu'un saurait par hasard comment récupérer cet icône ? Et si possible me décrire les étapes à suivre étant donnée que je ne suis pas très à l'aise avec les termes techniques.

Due to improper handling I accidentally removed the application list icon from the home screen of my Sony Xperia XZ1. I looked in all settings how to reinsert but impossible to find how. Someone would know by chance how to recover this icon? And if possible describe me the steps to follow since I am not very comfortable with the technical terms.

I have done all the things suggested but most icons are still hidden including basic ones like calculator plus those I installed myself.

Try this - Long press a blank space on your Home Screen - press Settings - scroll down to Enable Swipe-up, and turn it off.

On your home screen flick upwards, your apps should appear. Press the three dots on the top right and open settings. There is an option to restore the app button in there.
