Back button double jump!

After the recent update, my back button goes back two screens, not the one it should. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Is there a setting I can change since the update? Thanks

Hi @DanH76, welcome to our forum and I'm sorry to hear about this.

Did you start noticing this behaviour directly after updating the device or did notice it a few days later?

If you enable auto rotate, or if it is already enabled in your device, could you please try and rotate the home screen and/or rotate the screen when you are inside an application and see if the back button still goes back two screens instead of one?

If you still experience the same behaviour when tapping on the back button when the device is in landscape mode, try restart your device in safe mode, so we can see if any of your downloaded application(s) are the cause of this behaviour, as they are temporarily disabled in safe mode.

Hi, thanks for the info. I was a little unclear in my info, it is only affecting Web browsers. I'll try the apps in safe mode to see if it still happens. Thanks.

Were you able to replicate this behaviour when the device was rebooted in safe mode? If you use third party web browsers they will not be loaded in safe mode, however you can instead use the Google Chrome application and see if you experience the same behaviour when using the back button.
