You mention "my phone was very overheated when it happened "....heat and electronics = bad.

This phone has an LCD screen, which means there is a backlight that illuminates it. I'm not sure how you know the touchscreen still works if you cannot see what it is doing???

This does not sound like a software issue so I will not recommend a software repair. If the phone is still under warranty then I would go that route and see if you can get it repaired.

Here is my third time stating that everyone should have a backup phone waiting in a drawer for just such a time as you cannot be without one. You can get a satisfactory phone for less than $100.00 for just such an emergency.

So around 4 hours ago my phone decided to go fully blackscreen mode and have not returned the screen back to the original state, I have tried restarting the phone multiple times and the touchscreen still works while I cannot see what is happening. All I think could be a problem is that my phone was very overheated when it happened but I am not sure if that could have caused the problem or not. Any people that know what could be the problem?
