The my Xperia service and Protection by my Xperia are discontinued starting from Xperia XZ Premium, that is why you can't find the service in the settings menu of your device.

You can instead use the Google app/service called "Find My Device" to for example, remotely lock and/or wipe your device.

@Strampkeprobably in order to trim some fat from the software and cut the costs of support. no need to continue developing it, maintaining the servers etc. when Google's Find My Device does the same thing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm afraid that I don't have any information to as why this service was been discontinued, however as of January 17, 2018, the my Xperia web service has also been discontinued and you will now be redirected to the Find My Device web service instead.

I understand that is not the answer you were looking for, but it's the information I have available!
