System update 47.1.A.5.51 arrived today OTA.

-Camera distortion fixed (activable in menu)

-Auto brightness seems fixed too

Now improve and expand features, please!

-RAW !!

-More exposure flexibility! ( >1s exposure time!!)

-Double tap to wake and lock

They are doing good but...

- Brightness is still a little fuzzy. Let's hope for a further update.

- Square angles and straight lines are still a little bent.

I think Sony focused mainly on security patches for November which is, by the way, more than respectable.

Is there a special way to get these updates for Xperia Phones? I haven't gotten anything in my playstore app, nor the "What's new" app in terms of systemupdates.

i am Xperia XZP user. i like to know after getting this 47.1.A.5.51 does your incoming caller interface change to old like Z5 and XZP or it seems like previous. i mean if you want to answer the call you have to slide right or slide up. please reply

Wheres wifi hotspot fix? I cannot use my phone xz21 on wifi hotspot because every client/device connecting then disconnecting - looping....

Thry should fix the arrows for WiFi data that constantly moves around the icons. God is that annoying

Hello, I received the update and I did it hoping it will fix the Camera distortion that you said is fixed but it serms worse for me now. How is it activable in menu? My pics still look softned and like cartoon when taken and then zommed in. Its really embarrassing me when I take pics with my friends and family and share them. Aren't other users see got bad picd? Sony do you really call this the best camera you specialized in for years? Smasung do beter cameras I mean seriously we want pics crystal clear show every details not softned. Im outraged of this device. Its making me lose lots of memorable times. It will probably be my last one I buy from Sony if they don't take this matter seriously. Even cheap Chinese phones take better pics, LIKE REALLY

Yep.. this Xperia is a thing to love. Some apps maybe crash and some games are laggy, but overall is fine so I take it's Oreo's fault mainly, not qualcomm's hardware.

Photos are acceptable for sure, just need to play with exposure and light... and fix the shaky hands or use pod

Evening 18:45, clear sky.The exposure is "human-eye" correct, even when opposite colours appear like orange-reddish lights and aqua blue skyies. Z2 had problems with that, preffering one side and going to bluish oranges or tint up skies with yellow mist.

Good job on that!

P.S.: Don't mind the dots in skies, and hate it for grain, it's winter and my windows aren't summer-fresh clean, so several pixelation could appear from "after rain" stains on glass. Sure to post some better not "from inside the room" shots when it becomes warmer outside.

Utilities indispensable on xz1 in particular and smartphone in general
