Apps randomly open themselves. I don't understand why. Never faced this issue until Oreo update

However you should make a note of which apps open automagicaly.

Maybe the guilty ones don't exist in safe mode where the OS will load without any third-party apps.

I can't say a safe mode check will work for this because this does not happen daily. I'd have to keep my phone in safe mode at least for 3-4 days since that's the frequency in which i could see this issue. The guilty apps i have seen opening up like that are TextNow, Pandora, Super Task Killer, Pinterest, etc. Only a few but just feel like it's some bug in Oreo itself. Because i did not have this issue before the Oreo update

@mynameisnaveen I can't say if that's the cause of the problem, but I'd ditch any task killer and RAM "optimiser" apps, they don't do anything beneficial on Android.
