Battery Draining Fast Issue

I recently bought an XZ1 and been using it for about a month now. On the first few weeks, I got screen on time of about 4.5 hours at 20% battery left with no problems. But now I've been monitoring and noticed that I only get 2.5 hours of SOT where the battery gets to 15% really fast. Is there a problem with my battery? The screenshot is my battery stats for the day. I'm a moderate user (Facebook, Messages, some video browsing, instagram).

Hi @nanabav, welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about this.

You may have a lot of applications running in the background, each consuming some battery power. As a test, could you please put your phone in safe mode and see if you experience the same level of drain?

I tried putting it on safe mode for the whole day today. Started safe mode when the battery was around 90% and about 20 mins SOT. The overall SOT increased to 3 hours but it's still not that significant different from when its without on safe mode?

Yeah the difference isn't too significant. Try running a software repair using Xperia Companion. We can try rule out the firmware as the issue.

You might want to look into an Oreo setting.

Mobile data allways active, in developer settings.

Just a guess.

I tried software repair and it seems to solve the problem! I get around 4 hr 40 mins SOT now at 15% Thank you!
