White dot on screen

I have jusy noticed one white dot on my xz premium scrscrescars . There's no damage nothino suddesud that whitewdot appeared on phone screen. What shall I do?

That looks like a problem/issue with the display.

Best way forward is to contact your local Sony support.

I am sorry to say that since this is a physical concern, I am only able to refer you to have your device sent to an authorized service center. In order to have the device sent in, I recommend getting in touch with your Local support for further assistance in doing so - as they are well informed in regards to local service routines, warranty terms and consumer laws.

It's just appeared on my screen too my old Xperia did this but it was 2+years old. Brought this premium outright slightly annoying. Have you looked into it anymore?

Unfortunately, I may only advice you to have your device sent to an authorized service center as the concern is physical - as I mentioned in my previous post here.

It will turn to yellow/orange after some time. It's simply amazing that this issue never gets solved...

How old is your device? 8 weeks?

Its about 6months old! My old Xperia did it after 2years 😩

Oh, usually it happens after 2 months or after 6 months...

Do you use a case?

Does your phone get hot often?

Do you put it in your pocket?

Just for the purpose of research. We have to explore it together since Sony seems not interested in this topic

Yes it gets hot when using maps for example or if my son is watching something on you tube. It has a case around the outside but not over the screen .Usually in my coat pocket...

Thanks a lot

So I think it's glue. When the device gets hot it leaks and after some time (hot again) it creates this burn in effect. But it's rather a construction problem than a display problem
