I use hearing aids and in android 6.xx & 7.xx there was an option to enable hearing aid compatibility, I now can't find it in android 8.0.0

Can you or anybody else advise where it is now hiding as it was under "Settings / Call" . This menu item seems to have now disappeared!

Did this ever get resolved? After delaying the update for a while, my phone auto updated without my permission and will not let me roll back. Without HAC the phone is practically useless to me now, and I have to Bluetooth Sound to my car speakers in order to hear people on the other end. Very annoying and absolutely ridiculous! I bought this phone specifically for the hearing aid compatibility, and now it has dissappeared from the phone I have been using it on?
