USB connection dialog

When connecting to the car by USB to do what ever, I get a dialog about what I want to use usb for: charge xz, charge connected device, transfer files, play music. Is there any way of setting this to default to play music? It pops up every time the stop start on car triggers so is really annoying!!!

you can try doing this:

1. go to Settings > About phone
2. tap Build number entry 7 times to unlock Developer options
3. go to Settings > Developer options
4. under Networking section, change "Select USB Configuration" to "Audio Source"

that said, I've tried setting it to MTP but it doesn't seem to work, but maybe you'll have more luck with it.

Hi again. Tried it and it only works for the first time to select the choice I want then goes back to charging. Point is though I don't want it to keep asking at all, I just want it to do it in the background. Stop start momentarily kills power to usb each time it starts which triggers another required response. Thanks for help though
