Side panel paint peels off

the only issue is the paint in the side panel peels off .so what can be done for it ?And one more question can we we get a new panel for xz premium without changing the display.please sony help me in this.

@MCPA1207 your only course here is to either take the phone back to your place of purchase & depending on how long you've had it & their return policy they may replace it or to contact you Local Support http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

And as @HermesHidayat has asked, what in your opinion has caused this.... do you use a certain case

I didn't use any case @dandy63 . And I bought my mobile on June 13 and this incident happened from mid of the August . When I took it to the service center they told me that Sony is not responsible for this and u have to pay . I even I agreed to pay . But later they told me that they have to change the panel with the display where changing display is unnecessary . So what I can I do now ..I love Sony very much . That's the only reason to but this . But this was a great disappointed for me ..

Why must you change the bezels and display? They are 2 seperate spareparts...

Most likely what they mean is that, in order to change the plastic bezels, they have to take off the screen (and put it back ofcourse). I can imagine them asking for a premium price.

Agree with @Dutchy007.... they more than likely have to basically strip the phone down but not entirely sure why/if they have to replace the screen.... I'd have a Lok on YouTube to see if there is a 'breakdown' video to give you an idea of what is involved, also get back in touch with your Support to clarify the situation, good luck.

I didn't use any case.... Sony refused to replace the frame and as there was small damage in the top frame they said that it was because of it the paint peeled off and that's totally insane 😡😡.... How come a paint can peel off because of getting small scratches on the top frame? And even i accepted to pay but the Sony said that they will replace the frame with the display.. And this is totally insane again... 😤😤.... Not fair sony 😒....

Yeah.. It's a great disappointment.. Sony has to change the frame without changing the display...
