topic Google feed vs Home pane in XZ Series

I understand that you may not change the Home pane when Google feed is activated. The reason seem obvious in that Sony/Google want the user to be only one pane away from the Google feed when pressing the home button. This kind of thinking is exactly what I don't expect to see on an Android device. On IPhone fine but on Android I expect to be able to configure this exactly how I want it. Perfectly fine that there is a Google feed pre-configured pane but I should be able to place it wherever I want as I also should be able to with the Home pane.

I know Nova Launcher has the option for launching Google Now when swiping from left, maybe it'll be more to your liking?

It's funny that you say you don't expect to see this on an Android device when Google themselves were the first to do it with the Pixel.
