In all phones as we type the mobile no the app used to identify similar nos (basically used to search assist) but now it does not.....Any method to rectify it...Earlier phone xperia v still has the feature it can search as we type

are you refering to merging simillar contacts? as far as I have observed if I type a number , the contacts with simillar number would show up. for example, if I type 123 all contacts with 123 in the number would appear..

not merging similar numbers but searching suppose u have recieved a call from 1234567 and u dont have it saved in your contacts even if u type 4567 the mobile number would pop up in almost all the phones but sadly xperia xz does noit have this feature...it does not pick up or search similar nos at all...u
