    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1027996"&gt;@SchiFa2&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Xperia XZ has an IP rating that protects it from accidental water spills, but it's not advised to take pictures under water with it, or totally immerse it under water.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are other ways to take advantage of your Sony device’s water and dust protection. You can use the device in the following scenarios:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When your fingers are wet.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;In dusty environments, such as a windy beach or when hiking along a dusty trail. Just make sure you wash off all the dust on your device using water from the tap afterwards.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Taking photos and movies in wet surroundings. Remember not to use the device underwater.
