Used Xperia XZ for 5 days and found network issue. Often very weak signal and no Internet service. Incoming calls not possible sometimes. And now, even worse, No Service, could not locate network. Replaced SIM card, issue not solved. Put the same SIM in Z2 and it works very well in the same place. Anybody got any idea? Signal strengths show the same for both Z2 and XZ at -99dbm. The XZ is now unusable and I needed to go back to my Z2.

You can see there is no signal. I also did the software repair. Nothing better. I guess I need to send to service center. Very disappointed for a 5 days old flagship device.

My signal is often zero, far more so than any other phone I've owned, and even when I have a good signal it frequently drops on & off (quickly). For a plastic phone I expected much better signal reception. This is on Marshmallow by the way so I can't blame the Nougat update.

I have a same problems: Wifi and mobile network are very poor when my Z1 Compact has very strong connection. The mobile network on my XZ always shows 1 bar only, the Wifi shows 2-3 bars while my Z1 Compact shows that everything have a very strong connections
