[BUG]Proximity Sensor On Call

There is a issue with proximity sensor on neo_v

Normally If a call was accepted and phone too close to human face or skin after that Proximity sensor will disable touchscreen for any accidentally hang-ups, mutes, etc.

anyway first time works fine it will be disabled but after still on a call if phone going to keep away from face(skin) to anywhere than go back to face

touchscreen was not disabled

Proximity sensor failing to detect face or skin

Not good for people who speak on the phone too much

proximity sensor works all time on service menu test

but not working on call just first time works fine after that no luck

Make sure you backup everything

Settings -> privacy -> Back up my data and Automatic restore should be selected

just to play it safe sync your contacts w/ google if you haven't already

open your phonebook

press MENU button -> tap on Send Contacts -> select all -> send it to your email

on your computer

-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

Apps

Don't worry so much about backing up your apps

on your computer go to

market.android.com -> log in -> click on My Library -> and send all your apps to your phone

SMS/MMS

if you don't want to use the backup & restore app then

Install "backup SMS" to back up your SMS and MMS to your Gmail

this are methods on how to side load apps

1st Method

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

download the app on your computer, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

2nd method

download the apk on your computer, send it to yourself through email, make sure you send it to your Gmail

now on your phone

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

wait for the email, once you get the email, open it, and instead of downloading the attachment it will allow you to install it, voila, done

3rd Method

BOX and upload the apks from any computer

install the App on your phone -> open BOX -> tap on the app -> install it

4th Method by far the easiest

an even Easier alternative

download the app, transfer it to your SD card

Download Apk Installer

I don't wanna repair phone software until verifying that someone else it's not a bug

you are wrong I didn't said I don't believe just said if it's a bug until verifying that someone else

I don't have a windows pc and my pc has ubuntu os so I had to find a windows pc for software update

I did not want to deal with find a pc without knowing and phone has been factory reset and difficult as it used to set the same settings

anyway problem gone

hey! .i have the same problem with the proximity sensor , he exist but when i make a phone call the screen doesn't go off .he continue remain activ ,and i download an aplication from play store to find what sensor i have in my smartphone and he discover my proximty sensor but he show me that is no activity nothing........ i have android 4.1.2 and i don't know what to do..........i have bought the phone 3 days ago and i am disapointed because of this problem.......pls help me.......Sorry for my english if it's not perfect.
